Reading Month at Minnieville
Reading month was a huge success.  Students made a paper chain with the title and author for each book they read this month.  Students reading success was celebrated with an assembly showing how many books each class read.  The classes for each grade level that read the most books won a prize.  Each class was awarded a book for their classroom library.

Kindergarten Dismissal Procedures

3:25    A staff member gathers the car riders, van riders and walkers from each classroom and walks the students up the hill for dismissal.  Each car and van rider has an assigned number that corresponds to the vehicle picking the student.  Walkers are dismissed to older siblings or released to parents.

3:30    Bus riders in each class are grouped according to their bus number.  The teacher and the assistant walk the students to the busses.  The teacher or assistant calls each student by name to board his/her bus.
